Thomas Kaikonen har vokst opp i nord, men bor nå i Bergen.
Han har studert Visual Arts og animasjon ved Deakin University i Melbourne, Australia.
I denne utstillingen samles nye og noen eldre arbeider, i blandede teknikker. Man vil blant annet se digitalt maleri, linotrykk og blekkillustrasjoner.
Med en drømmende tematikk og dynamiske komposisjoner skaper Kaikonen motiver som svever mellom fantasi og virkelighet, og kan gi dystopiske assosiasjoner.
Thomas Kaikonen grew up in the north of Norway, but he currently lives in Bergen.
He has studied Visual Arts and animation at Deakin University in Melbourne, Australia.
In this exhibition you will see a collection of new and some older works. He works with a variety of techniques, amongst others; block print, digital painting and ink-illustrations.
He has a dreamlike theme in his work, with that and dynamic compositions he creates motifs that hangs between fantasy and reality. His works can also give associations of dystopia.
