Linda Soh Trengereid (f.1984) jobber frem motiver ved bruk av ulike teknikker på forskjellige underlag. I hennes kunstneriske praksis er hun opptatt av vårt forhold til naturen, geografiske forflytninger og sivilisasjon.
Arbeidene som skal stilles ut i Kunstgarasjen tar utgangspunkt i fotomateriale hentet fra noen av de mest befolkede byene i verden og ulike urskoger. Trengereid jobber med det kontinuerlige mylderet i begge motivene: menneskemengden, som fortsetter å vokse, og den uberørte, men truede, urskogen.
Linda Soh Trengereid (b. 84) works and motifs come about through the use of a variation of techniques and underlying materials. Our relationship to civilisation, geographical movements and nature are concerns and vital factors in her artistic practice.
At Kunstgarasjen she will be showing works that originate from photographic material from some of the most populated cities in the world as well as regions of primal forest. Trengereid works with a continual teeming in both motifs: peoples in constant growth and the threatened, but untouched primal forest.
