Founded by artists and entrepreneurs Simon Asencio and Adriano Wilfert Jensen, Galerie is an immaterial art gallery dealing exclusively with immaterial artworks. The mission of Galerie is to support and promote immaterial objecthood: works that cannot be reduced to material objects or to the documentation of an action. Economical formats and “representations” are tailored to each artwork and developed in collaboration with represented artists, offering unique opportunities for the artwork to extend and disseminate on its own terms.
Galerie has been invited to Hordaland Kunstsenter to develop a dream art fair, a commercial art fair in which artworks inhabit the realm of dreams, and where collectors have the opportunity to experience and acquire works through subliminal transactions.
For Meteorfestival 2017 Galerie will present a pilot event, which will introduce the concept and methodologies of The Bergen Art Fair. The first edition of the fair will take place in Bergen in 2018.
