The exhibition is connected to the Dirty Ear Forum research project. The project aims to investigate currents in contemporary sound art and sonic research through collaboration and international exchange. The idea is to bring together a group of artists-researchers, to collect and develop methodologies for sonic work, and to support the culture of sound practices at KHiB and in Bergen. This integrates a relation between individual and collective work, querying how sound might function as a vital medium for strategies of radical inclusion.
