Ane Krogseth
Ane is a third year BA-student in Contemporary Art at The Academy of Contemporary Art and Writing in Tromsø. She is currently located in Kabelvåg, Lofoten where she run`s the student collective KOM INN showroom. She use the perspective of a photographer, the works Ane produces are in multimedia, with a main focus on partition and form.
Ane says :
I wonder if it is possible to see the empty, the neutral or the true and then be able to convey it. In my works I enjoy cutting my way into shapes and hold on to details that aim to resemble a distillation of its general definition. The goal is often to reflect upon the boundaries between things and to linger on the notion that true or final definitions are nonexistent. My work is defined by the ability to imagine. Compositional tendencies and repetition of details are there to be recognized and used as orientational tools.
